A Note on Human Adaptability
----Taking into consideration Humans ability to adapt to any circumstances presented to them in as few as three generations we have decided to only list what is common amongst all Humans. For more in-depth knowledge seek no further than tomes on the various sub-races of Humankind.
Common Physiology
----At their core Humans are just very, very advanced mammals following the same theme of fur, live birth, and so forth. Considered by some as the template race for future gods to learn how to create their own race they have much in common with almost every Civilized Race recorded. The common human never reaches over heights of 7 feet or under that of 5 feet unless they have adapted to uncommon circumstances. Alongside this rather typical size they are rather light in weight only weighing 25 to 40 pounds per foot. Female humans are naturally smaller than the males but not by much.
----Despite how prevalent Humans are around the Aether they rarely give birth to more than a single child at a time with a 9 month gestation period. Childbirth for Humans is extremely dangerous without proper conditions such as warmth, proper food, and medical supplies on hand. Yet even with all of these negatives Humans have managed to triumph over the most desolate of terrain.
Common Psychology
----One of the most common trait found amongst all Humans no matter how distant the plane is their ability to remain prideful to the point of arrogance no matter how desperate their situation. This mixed with an unstoppable drive to survive, grow, and thrive has made fighting, controlling, or simply moving them to another location almost impossible even for deities. A few common terms often coined when a race is describing Humans to another is "driven", "stubborn", "arrogant", and the especially common "ignorant". The more Humans that are gathered together in a singular belief the harder it is to show them a new way of thinking making groups of them a prized possession for any deity that wishes to gain more power. To better understand Human psychology please look into tomes documenting one of their numerous sub-races.
Common Histories
----The exact origin, both time and place, of Humankind is unknown. Any planar knowledgeable Human will however quickly claim that Humankind was the first of the sentient races to come into being thus the most important. Having no distinct Over-God to claim them Humans throughout history have come to worship those they view as close to their own personality to the point of even choosing the weaker of gods in favor of a greater deity. For better information on a portion of Humankinds history please refer to the tome documenting one of their numerous sub-races.
Common Culture
----Humans change their culture based on what races, deities, and even creatures are around them. This makes describing their culture as a whole almost impossible. This being said we advise looking into a tome based one of the numerous sub-races of Humankind if you wish to learn more.
