I intend for a number of these threads to be created, with intention of having a back-and-forth brainstorming on the lore of the gods. For this thread, as in the title, it'll concern backstory and relations of the god trinity for War, Peace and Innocence. Anyone is free to add input on anything, and my hopes being this can be a preliminary flushing out before running it through the Suggestion Smithy.
I'll take the helm with the god of peace. I want this god, currently working on a name, to have been torn from a world where everything existed harmoniously. This god doesn't know conflict, so by nature wouldn't fight, retaliate or defend. On Ravare, having being ripped from its home, it would've had to quickly come to terms with its sense of self, not so much mortality, but for the need to defend itself externally to symbolize defending its morality and ideals from the world. Since it cannot function perfectly alongside its new surroundings, it has evolved into a more righteous fury. It fights only when absolutely necessary, taking a stance of pacifism unless an action must be taken. This manifests in the god residing an a single area and rarely leaving, exploring or traveling, a sliver of Ravare where it has tried to create a harmonious existence with the plane. Its detachment from the aether has made this increasingly hard, this showing through not being able to fully convert Ravare into its ideal perfection.
To the other gods (That aren't all kill, maim, destroy), the god's home is a sanctuary, and although everything is left in its natural order everything coexisting, something instinctively feels off, like there's something missing, or as natural as it seems, it feels inorganic or sterile. Most mortals that visit the sanctuary see it only as a utopia, where they can live without fear of danger or jeopardy. The god, though, despises mortals, as their naturally chaotic selves, their indecisiveness and uncleanliness sullies and taints the sanctuary, so rarely are mortals allowed within. Sitting at the foot of a mountain, within a wooded meadow, the entire area is shrouded in an enchantment with keeps the world outside out. The pinnacle of the sanctuary is the Marble Tower, although its name does it no justice. The tower is comparable to a cathedral from the outside, with several glimmering stone spires gracefully rising above it. It's unknown how the structure was constructed as of right now.
