No Mastery
All rolls, except for damage calculation, involving a Basic Swords are decreased by 4.
You deal damage to yourself on Critical Failure and are Disarmed.
You deal no extra damage on Critical Success.
Mastery 1
All rolls involving Basic Sword are neither decreased or increased.
Unsheathing your Basic Sword does not take the entire combat turn but you cannot attack while unsheathing.
You deal no damage on Critical Failure.
You deal 25% extra damage on Critical Success.
Mastery 2
All rolls, except for damage calculation, involving a Basic Swords are increased by 2.
All damage done by Basic Swords is increased by 2.
You now have access to the Exotic Swordplay and Great Swordplay Skill Sets.
You deal no damage on Critical Failure.
You deal 50% extra damage on Critical Success.
Mastery 3
All rolls, except for damage calculation, involving a Basic Swords are increased by 4.
All damage done by Basic Swords is increased by 4.
You now have access to Dual-Wielded Swordplay Skill Set.
You can attack the same turn you unsheathed your Basic Sword.
You deal 4 less damage on Critical Failure.
You deal 75% extra damage on Critical Success.
Mastery 4
All rolls, except for damage calculation, involving a Basic Swords are increased by 6.
All damage done by Basic Swords is increased by 6.
You cannot be disarmed if only wielding a single Basic Sword.
You gain an extra 1 experience per post in any Skill Sets that branch out of Swordplay.
You cannot roll a Critical Failure.
You deal 100% extra damage on Critical Success.
