A Note on Classification
----Those above the Mortal Coil are numbered in the thousands with each plane able to claim two to thirty as their own. To better understand each of these creatures of the Aether the Asdium has started to classify these gods into three categories.


Understanding the Ancient Deities
----Amongst the Aether there is no higher power than the Ancients that roam it's endless depths. With the only threat to their existence being other Ancients they have begone participating in massive wars against one another commonly uncaring for any pawns that get destroyed along the way. While no Ancient is willing to tell how they came about their power our great Lord Aist has blessed us with the knowledge that most Ancients killed their way to the top. Though, some such as Lord Aist himself gained their power through practice, knowledge, and undeniable patience that most do not possess.

Understanding the Major Deities
----Most common amongst the Immortals are the Major Deities. With so many of them roaming around the Aether the amount of power available is growing thin forcing confrontation across every plane. Those of this rank are not above using anything and everyone to get what they want.

The Major Deities
-Argous, Keeper of the Cleansing Flame. (+)
----Amongst the plane of Aif there is no god feared more than the Keeper of the Cleansing Flame. With his doctrine teaching that purity is gained through flame and all non-believers must be cleansed willingly or not his followers have a horrifying reputation of violence. Argous was one of the few Major Deities to be created with such a rank. Born from the charred corpse of an unnamed Ancient Deity of Flame the first memories of the Keeper was that of fire, pain, and war. He wishes for all those involved in the destruction of his creator be purified through flame alongside any and all followers they may have. Unfortunately for the Aether he does not know who was truly involved.

Understanding the Minor Deities
----The most dangerous time for most deities. Considered both disposable and weak by any deity above them most Minor gods are used until they are mere husks to be thrown away until they finally fade out of existence.

The Minor Deities
-Telia, Lady of Marble. (+)
----Once a mortal from the plane Gom-Lo obsessed with her idea of perfection Telia gained her exalted status after making a deal with the Ancient named Gom. The deal stated that Telia would be given the power of a God as long as she followed under his command and was imbued with the Eye of Gom; a massive obelisk of crystal and marble. Agreeing to the deal in great haste the once beautiful woman was changed into a flawless being of pure marble. Upon becoming one with the Eye her face was replaced with a mask of pure marble flawless in cut and design. Her body was also morphed into the white stone removing any imperfections in it's wake. Now titled the Lady of Marble the Goddess spends her time "perfecting" the mortal races into her image; with our without consent.
